Getting Started
We are excited in your interest of enrolling your child(ren) with Northland Childcare Centre Inc. This page will give you some basic information that you will need once your child(ren) is enrolled with NCC Inc. It is important to note that in order to have your child added to the Waitlist you must register your child(ren) by selecting the “Join our Waitlist” buttons either on the bottom or top of this page.
Northland Childcare Centre is open:
Monday to Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m., year round.
Pine Ridge Child Care Centre is open:
Monday to Friday, 6:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m., year round.
We will be closed on the following Stat holidays:
New Year’s Day (New Year’s Eve we close at 3:00 p.m.)

Families are charged for all days of closure with the exception of Storm days. Please see our policies for more information.
Nutrition, Food & Beverages
Currently, we are not offering hot lunches.
Please note that we are a peanut/nut safe facility.
Nutritious Lunches are strongly encouraged at NCC. As written in the Parent Policies, we request that parents send a nutritious lunch with a variety of foods from the Canada Food Guide. Please send a minimum of 3 healthy food options, and only a small treat if one is necessary. We will allow children to make their own selections from their lunch kits. Less treats ensures that their choices will be healthy. This rule includes Infants. If we feel lunches are lacking we will supplement them and may need to charge you for the extra. We do not serve soft drinks to the children.
Daily Snacks, both morning and afternoon, are provided for the children. Each snack includes a fruit or vegetable and food from at least one other food group.
Fees
Daily Childcare fees are as set by Manitoba Early Learning and Child Care, April 2, 2023.
A registration fee of $100.00 per child is required to secure your spot(s) and to move forward with registration. This registration fee is non-refundable.

$10.00 for full 4 – 10 hr days. (This includes School closures and noon dismissals)
$8.60 for 2 periods (before and after school, including early closure)
Payment
Fees are calculated on a 4-week rotation and are due on the Friday before the billing period begins. A Billing Period Schedule is available at the office.
We accept payment exclusively by pre-authorized debit.
Subsidy
Families who are unable to meet the full cost of care may apply for financial assistance through Manitoba Early Learning and Child Care. An application can be accessed through the website www.gov.mb.ca/childcare or by requesting a form at the office. Any unsubsidized amounts are the responsibility of the family. It is the family’s responsibility to provide all necessary documents and meet all government requests and deadlines in order to benefit from subsidy. Please talk to the Director if you require assistance or additional information. If subsidy has not yet been approved at the time of enrolment, families will be charged the full amount and credit will be issued once approval is given.
Late Fees
Northland Childcare Centre’s budget is in accordance to funding. We reserve the right to cancel a child’s spot and may take legal action if fees are not paid in accordance to policy. Please communicate with the Director if family circumstances deem it necessary to make alternate payment arrangements for a singular invoice. Late fees will be charged according to policies.
